Banned Book
I am reading “ I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings.” By Maya Angelou
This project is not only exploring the importance of reading but also exploring how readers are losing opportunities to read great books because they have been banned from libraries. I am reading “ I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou.” This project was not a very big challenge to me because I love to read and I found ways to challenge myself by picking harder quotes to explain for my journal entries. The easiest part of this project for me was making the bookmarks but it was fun and I was confident in my final product. I am proud of my bookmark because I took the design from the cover of the book and used that for inspiration in my book mark. I read the book I chose, and I enjoyed it, I would recommend it for others because it explains the importance of awareness in a way that will keep you interested. There is not really anything I would change about this project except making it more challenging. It was a great project and I’m glad I got to learn about Banned Book Week.
Vignette Project
This project is all about expressing yourself and your experiences through writing. I decided to base my writing off of my favorite aesthetic of stars, which is what you see mon my title, sky full of memories. I am most proud of my past adventure vignette because I worked hard on putting all my thoughts and emotions into this vignette and my passion for dance. One area I would have liked to improve on is my Present Vignette because I could have added more detail, but over all I am proud of what I have produced.
