Gaming The System
I created a game show straight from our own imagination. Our group decided to make a mini race. We decided that this was perfect because it is not only engaging to a young audience but also a older audience. Our project was called, “ Warm Wheels” we went through a long process of getting materials yet it was totally worth it. We had four mini cars and we had two players at a time, they competed in a race that lead to the winner getting the opportunity to pick from one of three boxes, where empty while one had a prize. Our project was a big hit and at one point we had about 20 people waiting to play. There was lots of laughter and smiles coming from the contestants and audience! I truly think that our inspiration was the joy behind a friendly race that audience love to see.
During exhibition I contributed a fair amount of work between hands on project work to charismatic collaboration. I have always been strong in an exhibition setting and I love the idea of walking away from a project knowing that you made an impact on somebody. A way that I have shown grit is by going from the mindset of , “we won’t get this done in time.” To, “I got this.” And showing it not only in my attitude but In my work ethic. Most of my group members contributed well and we got most work done and always kept on top of what was due. Some others did not collaborate as well. I feel I collaborated very well in our project and did my part and I can walk away satisfied that I completed this project with no roadblocks. I share big respect for my group members for the great work we produced and the blood sweat and tears we put in this. As though it may sound that we are did an easy game show we took lots of leaps that were brave and showed lots of integrity. For example we originally had orders set for cars of a trusted website. But we found cheaper cars in a website we didn’t know and we took the risk not having any cars at all, or bad quality cars.
